We cleaned out the gutters in France road, close to Sabon Gari in Kano state as we noticed it was causing flood around the commercial and residential areas in this rural community and the flood was also leading to the spread of some diseases like Cholera & Lassa fever.
We took note of the fact that the clogged gutters were a risk to public health & businesses, so members of the Cleaners Network Association set out to clear and clean out the gutters with the resources at our disposal. Our work is beyond just cleaning and earning from it but also to contribute our quota to the sanctity of our environment and to promote the United Nations Sustainable development Goals 3, 8, 11 &13. We look forward to doing more for communities across Nigeria.
